Leadership foundations in service and accountability

While at James Madison University, I served as Pledge Philanthropy Chair for Alpha Kappa Psi, the co-ed business fraternity chapter I joined during college. During my pledge period, I helped lead fundraising efforts that raised more than $2,000 for Habitat for Humanity.

After becoming a brother, I served as Pledge Parent for two pledge classes, helping guide new members toward professional service and the organization’s values of integrity, service, and unity.

Senior Capstone Project

Lead programmer on a third-place finish out of 30+ teams

During my senior year, I served as Lead Programmer for a capstone team that built two applications simultaneously for a local animal shelter. The role required programming, project coordination, and presenting the final work to a panel of professors and local business leaders.

Our team placed third out of more than 30 groups, a result that sharpened my ability to pair technical execution with strong communication and presentation under pressure.

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions

Financial analysis, data stewardship, and executive-facing delivery

After graduating in 2017, I joined Kratos as a Financial Analyst supporting U.S. Navy programs. I owned the import, cleansing, and presentation of program data, and delivered a recurring weekly presentation to Navy personnel at the Washington Navy Yard.

The work centered on Microsoft Azure, Navy ERP, and Microsoft Excel, including stewardship of a 35-page printed Excel package that served as the backbone of my reporting process. The programs I supported included CPSD ship loading, additive manufacturing work, and financial acquisition, fulfillment, and tracking efforts.

Kratos describes its role broadly as delivering engineering and program management support to the Department of Defense, while Navy ERP serves as the Navy’s integrated enterprise platform for financial and business operations.
